How It Works
Results of microneedling can be further improved when used in combination with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). Studies show that PRP can increase the healing process of tissues and reduce the appearance of fine lines, pigmentation, large pores, and acne scarring when used with microneedling. PRP treatment involves using the patient’s own blood as a resource to isolate the platelets with a centrifuge. Because the blood is directly from the patient, the risks of the body rejecting the plasma or having an allergic reaction are minimal. The blood is separated into 3 layers which leave the PRP available for use during the microneedling process. PRP contains proteins and several growth factors that regulate and activate cell migration and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, making the treatment more effective.

Does Microneedling hurt?
Microneedling is designed to be as painless as possible. The needle tip is designed to be incredibly thin, while the handheld device delivers needle injections as quickly and as rapidly as possible. As a result, many patients often report feeling little to no pain at all. Those who did report discomfort indicated it felt like a mild tingling sensation.

Is there downtime with Microneedling?
There is very little downtime. Patients will be pink – it will feel tight and dry and look like a sunburn for the first 24 hours. Makeup can be applied the following day and post-care products will be given to you after your treatment.

When will I see results?
You will actually see visible results after the first treatment, and results improve after subsequent treatments. It is recommended to have 3-4 treatments for optimal results.

6Cleanse Area AgainWe cleanse the area again to ensure all foreign particles have been removed.
